Day 1
Place the dried abalone into a pot and add water until fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Day 2–3
Each morning, gently remove and rinse the abalone. Discard the old water, refill with fresh water to about 80% full, then return to the refrigerator to continue soaking.
✨ How to Know It’s Ready
After around 3 days, the abalone should become plump, springy, and evenly softened with no hard center remaining.
